little bun cafe in JB!

The students in my adult class took me out for lunch for our last lesson in an area of Johor Bahru called Eco Botanic. We went to a place called Little Bun Cafe that specializes in homemade brioche. It's a unique place in that you first choose which kind of brioche - we got plain, but they had various ones like pandan and ham/cheese. They steam the brioche in a bamboo steamer and serve it hot and fresh at your table. You can choose some spreads to go with the bread and we decided on cream cheese and honey kaya (Malaysian coconut jam). The brioche was so good!

We also sampled the breakfast plate and a couple of different pasta dishes. I was loving all of the mushrooms. I also ordered a latte, which I almost never order because I'm very picky about lattes, but this one blew my mind! It was absolutely delicious.

A big thank you to my wonderful students!
